A CHC advocate is an avid supporter of Community Health Centers (CHCs) who promotes policy favorable to CHCs by speaking up and telling elected and other government officials what legislative, regulatory, and funding changes are needed to strengthen and expand access to primary care.  CHC advocates can speak up via email, phone calls, faxes and in-person meetings, spending as little time as a few minutes several times a year to an average of a few hours per month, including trips to the state and national capitals.
